General Location
Much Hadham is located on the B1004 equidistant between Ware and Bishops Stortford. It is also exactly 3 miles from the Little Hadham lights on the A120.
From Bishops Stortford there are two options:
Option one - Take the B1004 and go past the golf club on your right and you will eventually come to a T junction in Much Hadham. Turn left here and White cottage in exactly one mile from this turn on your left hand side. Go past the post office and the Crown pub on your left and White cottage is approx 100 yards further on the left with a white picket fence around it. You can park in front of the house.
Option two – Take the A120 towards Puckeridge and arrive at the lights in the dip at Little Hadham. Turn left at these lights and White cottage is exactly 3 miles on the left. Use the directions from option one as you come into Much Hadham.
From Ware/Hertford
Take the B1004 from Ware town centre towards Bishops Stortford. This road will take you some 4-5 miles through Wareside and Widford. Carry on this road and as you come into Much Hadham look for the derelict ‘Jolly Waggoner’s’ pub on your right. Continue past this and into the village. Once you pass the traffic calming with traffic coming towards you having priority, White Cottage will be on your right after about a further 100 yards. You will see a left hand turn just in front of the house called Kettle Green lane. If you pass this turning you have missed us! You can park on the front.
